​69 years ago on Aug. 31, 1953 my parents, your grandparents, John and Mary Thompson, were married at Mountainview Methodist Church in Butte, MT.  
​They then took a short trip to Glacier Park for their honeymoon.  
Then they went to Bozeman to visit Aunt Eva and Uncle Fred.  
My Dad had worked for them before he came to the Dillon area and met Mom. 
Also he really liked them.  They never had children of their own and they liked my Dad.
